Alexandra & Carsten’s Soughton Hall, Mold Wedding Photography
A Georgian country house on the edge of Cheshire and North Wales—Alexandra & Carsten tied the knot in the elegance of the drawing room at Soughton Hall. Alexandra and her bridesmaid got ready in the beautifully kept bridal suite.
Stunning is an understatement—I’d truly love to capture more weddings there. The lush, thick green grass felt like a carpet underfoot. The black gates, the secret garden, and the façade of this beautiful house are perfect for couple portraits—before the wedding breakfast in the dining room, with a capacity of 80 guests.
The couple had to cut a heart shape in a white sheet—Carsten then carrying Alex through—a German tradition, apparently, and such a lovely moment. Open skies and beautiful light were present all day. As a true photographer, with a passion for weddings, this is exactly why I love this profession so much…
