A Sunlit Summer Wedding at Hoyle Court with Family, Laughter and a Touch of Elvis

Debra and Jared’s wedding at Hoyle Court was one of those days that stays with you long after it’s over. A celebration built around family, laughter, and the kind of moments you can’t plan — only feel.

I’d already spent time with them and their two girls during a relaxed pre-wedding shoot at Kirkstall Abbey, so by the time the wedding day arrived, everything felt easy and familiar. That connection always makes a difference — it allows the day to unfold naturally, without interruption.

The summer sunshine showed up in full, filling the gardens and courtyard with warm light. From group photos on the lawns to quiet moments between the two of them, everything flowed effortlessly. Their naked wedding cake added a simple, personal touch — perfectly in keeping with the relaxed feel of the day.

As the evening began, more guests arrived and the energy shifted, building into something lively and full of fun. Then came the surprise — an Elvis impersonator who brought the dancefloor to life and had everyone smiling.

It was a day centred on family, full of genuine moments and joy from start to finish — exactly the kind of wedding I love to capture.
